NHL 2K11 Release Date Pushed Up, August 24th Confirmed
 

Via @Ronnie2K's Twitter feed, the NHL 2K11 release date has been pushed up to August 24th.

Makes sense. Competitor is coming out with their hockey games around the same time, so it would make sense to get a jump on the competition. I for one, will be picking this up for the Wii.

Same here. Have this pre-ordered and will post some videos here on release day.

If the game is ready and is relatively bug free, this is a smart move to get a jump on EA's Slapshot.

But if it is not ready and is full o9f bugs, they will get crucified for relaesing a game too early and not using those 2 weeks to refine the product.

Let's hope for the 1st one and 2K hockey may have a chance at surviving.

Definitely. Though I won't be buying this since it's Wii only, for the sake of the series' future I really hope they're not just trying to get a jump on EA.
