but had a 7 point overall increases to bring that up to 71 overall after his red shirt year. I was going to cut him but i gave him a chance.

Was this after the tuner patch? Most of my 4 star recruits are now coming in with high 70's and couple even at 81. Almost too high for my liking now.

There are a lot of busts in real life too... I do think it's funny though that you would cut a 64 rated player when pre-patch I would rarely get a recruit that highly rated.

He's what's called a project. You know he's got potential but you need to redshirt him and work with him for a few years before he wins the heisman in his senior campaign.

I just had a 3 star FB come in at 84 overall. He has 98 acceleration, and pretty decent blocking skills at least 74+ across the board.

I would guess he probably wont progress much(low potential rating). although starting at 84, he wouldn't have to. already a nice recruit as a freshman.

Yeah he was the #2 FB in the nation, the #1 FB went to Miami.

The guy I got only has 78 speed, but with 98 acceleration he hits top speed in an instant.

Following him on outside runs must be great because I doubt he will be outran to the edge on those blocks.

Full backs and kickers come in with lower star ratings than their overall rating tends to imply (when compared to all the other positions).

I've never seen a 5 star FB/K/P. And only rarely have I ever seen a 4 star.

In fact, if you create a Kicker or Punter with 99 kick power/accuracy and 99 awareness, making him a 99 overall (and leave everything else at 40), he'll be a 4-star. Now, maybe if you pumped other stuff up, he'd be a 5-star...but as far as I know, 99 ovr kickers are still just 4-star.

My RB just went up another 7 points to 78 overall. I almost cut the guy too.

i've had at least 5 4* recruits today while messing around and not a single one has been higher than 66 overall. it's kind of depressing
