Madden 11 in 1080p, lots of jaggies
 

Hey I've got the 360 version, running it at 1080p on a 32" Sony Bravia (1080p native) and there are lots of jaggies, mainly on players that are off in the distance, like your defensive backfield, guys running down on kick offs/punts, etc. Didn't play Madden last year, so I'm not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this.

Is it my TV? Is it just the way the game was rendered? Any tips on improving image quality? Thanks guys.

I see alot of them on mine too... It is the PS3 version though, I think the demo looked better with the crispness

Yeah, the jaggies are bad, specially during annimation movements.

Im one of the ones who cant stand jaggies.

ughh does anyone know the resolution for it on PS3?

The PS3 resolution is 780p or 1080i which could be why someone sees jaggedness on "1080p" since the game wasn't designed for that (according to the game box).

Yeah, I have to turn the system settings to 720p before I play Madden or NCAA, it smoothes out the textures. I guess having 1080p textures and antialiasing are too demanding, since these are the only games that have this issue

Madden is usually 720p native. It's how the game was meant to look, anything higher is an upscale.
