EA charging us to play Online WTF

I know theirs a code to redeem but cmon. its a feature that should already be in the game? is this a way to make more money ? if i redeem it on 1 account, can i still play online on the others?

I wonder how many casuals will not know about the code in the back of the book and just sign up for a "new" pass....

While I didn't even read it, the screen that says 'click here to redeem code' as the first option likely has text similar to 'it's printed on the back of the book' just above it.

I am pretty sure this horse has been beaten since well before release though.

Its a way to counter the used game market. Very smart business move by EA

It's an added incentive for people to buy the game new instead of used. Not sure what the big deal is, if you want to play online buy it new.

This has been discussed before, nothing new.
