Can I get rid of Season Showdown?

I absolutely hate this feature and don't want these pop ups in my game. I don't recall turning this on.

Can I turn it off?

i think you'd have to delete your profile and not pick a favorite team when the game starts. i might consider doing this depending on how annoying it is

personally love the feature here.

seems to bring the game alive to me. i really missed it when it wasn't working properly.

And to answer the OP's question, there is no way to disable it once you've set it up from what I've read.

Everytime I start and finish a game, I get some notice saying something has failed. Is everyone still getting this?

On a related note, is there anyway to change your favourite team?

Apparently they fixed that failing issue.

I'm happy it's back, it'll keep me from running up the score, lol

I learned from last year and never actually went in and set it up this year. I love not getting those stupid updates this year because they drove me crazy last year.

Seriously if EA really has to make us use this, they should at least make an option to hide the popups for it.

nmm666 - there is no way to change your team once you pick it. EA said they intentionally forbid it to keep people from just changing to whatever team was the flavor of the day..

how did you skip setting it up this year...? i didnt set anything up it just automatically started docking me points all of a sudden, i was like WTF i didnt sign up for this.

Its not like you can get around picking your fav team when you start the game for first time.

toocool2win - There's no way to skip it this year because the game forces you to pick a team. That guy must just not think he's got it activated because it's been down and not showing the popups.
