Petition to patch the 1st half quit
 

We should all know by now that anyone can quit in the first half of a ranked game and the game will not count. I am creating this thread so we can discuss this issue and possible ways to fix it, which I am sure it can be fixed. I find it very unfair to play a game only to be quit on and theres no W for you or L for your opponent. EA has to do something about this. This completely ruins online play.

I don't play online matches much, but it's nice to be able to quit if you know you're not going to win and it's not fun.

I know they have that friendly quit thing, but I've had several games where the opponent uses cheap tactics or exploits to win. I don't like to finish those games and even though I don't care about a W-L record I wouldn't want the DNF % to go up because I left a match against an unsportsmanlike opponent.

It absolutely needs to be fixed. Yes, I'm sure it's nice if you're getting obliterated and know you don't have a chance to be able to quit. Ok, fine. But doesn't that mean you should get a loss and the other guy gets a win? I mean, that's what happened.

As it is, if you stop your opponent on the opening drive when he undoubtedly goes for it on 4th down, he quits before you even get the ball. Waste of time. And what do you know, literally EVERYONE I've gone against has a winning record online because they quit when they're losing and there is no consequence.

It's actually made me stop playing head-to-head ranked games, which used to be the mode I played most often. Thank goodness for team play this year.

This needs to be fixed.

NO hey dev threads. And I saw on someone's twitter they're working on it. Follow Ian and Donny and Josh on there...it's a great source for info
