I think we need to flood EA HQ with calls about the CPU depth chart. It is out of control awful.

Not sure how it is out of control. The rosters are lacking in players because of their recruiting strategies so they put the best player available at a given position whether it is their position or not.

I think it could be done if they just make it so players are only on the depth chart at the position their listed as. It really F*s dynasty in the future years though.

Yep I agree...it does mess with the game a little...seems like it should be an easy fix, but it might not be.

You dont see Tackles in the TE depth chart? I have also seen a SS as a backup RB...

NOPE....Scrolled thru every team pretty much...Nothing out of wack. I re-started my dynasty though...Maybe that has something to do wityh it. Its a non-issue for me...I never make it past year 4-5 anyway. I dont have that kind of time anymore.

Huh...well maybe i should restart mine, im currently in year 2, I wonder if when i advance to year 3 it will change...you on ps3 or xbox?

I find this hard to believe, I'm in year 2018 (started a new dynasty with new patch/tuner) and theres all sorts of problems. RT at TE, RT at FB, Backup QBs at 3rd WR, SS at RDE, SS at DT, the list goes on ....

I believe this also contributes to the problem of depth because none of the correct backup are getting playing time in mop up duty...

Please EA, fix this and the transfer issue, you'll have the GOTY..

Yeah I always seem to see the depth chart issues against teams running no huddle. Once they finally do get back in the huddle, all of their starters are tired. That makes the OL come out with a bunch of skill positions in there, and when you are in the playcalling screen it will tell you they are using 3 WR 3RB 2TE and 2QB.

Just have the players stick to their primary position, problem solved. There have been many threads about this so I hope EA has seen at least one and hopefully it can be addressed via live tuning

It is a big issue. It effects how challenging the CPU can be and it starts in season 1. First season of my OD; 4th game and Western Kentucky has a RE playing as their slot receiver. Total BS.

You can beat this to death. I don't think they are going to patch/tune this or can't. Like I have said...this has cause so many issues in dynasty. I'am still using my workaround... its a pain to do, but to put your season on hold for a couple of hrs is worth it. I too...hope they can fix this major issue.

Maybe ATHLETES are causing the problem. If a CPU team drafts a few and they are good at certain positions...They assign the athlete to a better more needed position...Makes sense.

I drafted an ATHLETE who at QB was a 74 ovr....at WR was a 72 and at CB was 68....

Sure seems like a plausable reason for messed up depth charts. If the CPU recruits an ATH but is stacked at his #1 position, they put him at the next best one. I mean a Tackle at FB/TE isnt really odd if they are a great blocker. Quite a Few TEs have started out as OL. Take Manumaleuna (sp? LOL)...Guys is 300lbs...was an OL prior.
