I play on heisman with the miami hurricanes with custom sliders and everytime time it seems it will be like 3rd an 12 3rd an 15 no matter what defense im in , blitz dont blitz they always get the 1st down. i will even spread my LBS move in my corners. but what do ya know the cpu throws guy catches for 15 1st down with my secondary no where insite. I just seems no matter what u do the cpus gonna do what they want when they want. i mean everyone knows there gonna pass an im miami there a A minus in defense when u got teams like maryland an virgina lookin like frikin texas on all 3rd downs.

CPU seems to make a LOT of 3rd and longs on all difficulties. Its terribad on Heisman. EA can't code good AI so they just make the AI cheat on Heisman. If you can take that bull**** my hats off to you. I sure can't.Comment

I would like some info on this as well. It seems the AI goes superhuman on 3rd down and I haven't found a defensive scheme that is my "go to" play on 3rd and long. I play on AA and have tried heavy blitzes, man, zone and I just feel lost on 3rd downs defensivelyComment

What makes it hard is to get a good pass rush on the QB. What I find helps (sometimes) is to guess pass (hold down L2 then push up on RS)...Zones are crap. I use man.
I find Heisman tempermental. If the CPU starts out by driving the ball down my throat, converting every 3rd down and breaking tackles where there shouldnt be, I typically find that no matter what I do on offense, it doesn't work and I end up getting beat.
If I can shut down the CPU on its first drive, I usually find myself with opportunities to win the game.
I like Heisman but what I hate is how the game equalizes everything. I have played poor teams and crushed them and I have played poor teams and lost. Lost to Miami (OH) using Oklahoma State...Scored 7 points...Lost to Indiana with VT (they broke so many tackles, it was ridiculous...Converted seven third downs in the fourth quarter...7...)
Heisman should be competitive but it should take into account team skill. I have no issues getting beat, it happens in real life, but I find that when I lose that I have no control. I cannot get a pass rush, I cannot run, cannot pass, the CPU gets a ridiculous rush and breaks too many tackles...OR, if the game is tight, they become unstoppable or a fumble happens...Not saying it cheats but the default settings are brutal...What?Comment

hey guys thanks for the info, i also have noticed to if its third an long an i call lets say cover 1 for example an get no pass rush at all they seem to get it atleast 9 out of 10 times most of the time. its pretty sick i guess we just have to deal with it i guess. i guess u just have to blitz every down like the computer does an hope an pray u get pressure on the qbComment
