Do you start your game over when you get a season ending injury to your star player..

in dynasty mode? Several of my friends actually do this and I never understood why. It sort of defeats the purpose of a dynasty. I just lost Case Keenum for seven weeks with a dislocated elbow, which is basically for the rest of the season. I have no desire to restart, even though my season (6-0) is probably over now.

    What you say?

I don't, injuries happen all the time even to your team's best player.

Nope, I live with it. Only time I redo it is simming pre-season in madden, and that's only if its over 5 weeks or so. Never do it in NCAA though.

I probably would if it happened early in the game. After halftime, I would just live with it.

Nope, never restart. I even lowered the injury rating on a lot of my players just so I'd be forced to rely on depth and yet I only get one major injury a year if that.

If you do this, you might as well just turn injuries off completely.

In Madden, because there normally isn't a suitable replacement. If Aaron Rodgers goes down for the year in my franchise, **** that I'm quitting.

The teams I use in NCAA (Stanford, Arizona State) have decent replacements most of the time. Obviously the replacement isn't as good as the injured player, but they're decent enough that I can live with them.

I never restart my dynasty games. It's against my religion.

Never restart. I lost Kellen Moore in week 3 for 9 weeks and I kept trucking on. I had to adjust my game becuase the backup Caughlin just isnt that great compared to him. So I focused on the running game and my backs carried the season for me and Caughlin took what the D gave him and did pretty well.

As a general rule I don't restart any games in my dynasty, but I heard about someone on here losing Greg Jones for the season during week 2... yeah, that would do it for me. They can't steal Greg Jones' senior season from me.

I feel u. I never restart my game. I consider that cheesing. I agree if one of my playmakers gets injured and the backup is incompetent I adjust my style of play. If my star WR is injured and the backup drops alot of passes I play more cautious and the run the ball more or throw to a different target. I'll throw to him here and there but just not as much as I did to the the guy before him

As far as quitting goes I'll never do that. Even if I am down 42-20 I'll be a man about it and accept defeat if it comes down to it but I'll fight till the end

Nope, never restart. Injuries are a part of football. Learn to coach through them. Half the fun of running a dynasty is the unknown, and that includes personnel performance and health.

I bet the people who do this don't restart the game if they injure one of the computer team's star players. They're probably the same kind of people who whine about comeback AI when they lose too.
