What does it take to raise one's academic prestige?

I'm into season 8 of my LSU Dynasty, and I've had every player graduate with the exception of two Jr's over the last 8 seasons.

I'm starting to run into more and more recruits who have this as a Very High or a Most in their list of priorities and I would like to increase my academic prestige level.

Is graduating players the only way to raise it?

I raised Nebraska's Academic Prestige from a B to an A (I am in 2017). Higher awareness levels and graduating players seem to be the key.

Hate to revive this old thread but....I really wanna increase my academic prestige for San Jose State, in real life they should at least be a B. Does this still apply for NCAA 12, that if I find recruits who have high awareness ratings and graduate will increase the academic prestige?

I never knew that...so the more players you keep from transferring or entering the draft early, the higher your academic prestige goes? Does it drop for schools who have players that transfer/enter the draft early?

It is random imo. There is a small chance od change each season

It seems random to me. I've only had it go down once in one of my dynasties.

I've read that it's random, too.
So why, in '11, did my eventual 6*, multi-Nat'l Championship Auburn team start at B and devolve -- as team got better -- to D and never change? Ever. Over the final 20+ seasons I ran w/ that offline Dynasty. No D+. Not even once.

Mine started at B+ and dropped to B as a TB team. Stanford's is down to a B+.

That is absolutely absurd. Stanford is a B+!?!?! Way to go EA on that one.

Fact is, academic prestige on this game is terrible. The grades for most schools are WAY too high...especially when you compare to the Dukes & Stanfords of the world.

In no way, shape, or form should the football program have anything to do with the academic prestige of a school such as Stanford going down.

In my opinion academic prestige should be locked in. PERIOD.

Exactly. The myth that football harms -- or in this game, absurdly improves -- an institution's reputation is just that, a myth.

IF it did change, you should trade practice or player training for an improved academics

To expand on that last thought. Through the dynasty school properties change as your school progresses. You should instead get bowl/tv/conference money and the freedom to use it as you please. Academics, stadium, coaching, training facilities, recruiters. Each school would really take on the identity of its leader.

We'll instead see "Be a referee" type of mode where you can dictate games by a single call!

I'll follow the lead of the AI and call Clipping on every single punt return that I see a possible block in the back. No one shall return the punt on my watch.
