frame-rate issue?

Is it me, or does it seem like theres alot of herky-jerky animation going on. No matter what level you play on (Very slow, Slow, Normal etc) the player animations seem a little skittish.........even in the cutscenes,.......Like in the huddles, on the sidlines i see a slight twitch in the animations. Is anyone else seeing this? Or is it just me.............

You're not alone. I've noticed similar aspects. Player heads that pop left and right, etc. I can't watch the QB talk on the phone. Watching the phone cord just drives me nuts, I have to skip it.

I thought it was just me...........its not running smooth at all. I wonder if they can patch this........(but then when they do, it will probably throw all the sliders out of wack). cant win............

Oh man is it ever. I knew exactly when the Qb was going to hut the ball becasue the game would studder every single time.

I remembered 2k basketball used to have those same issues until I downloaded it onto my HDD. So that's what I did and it fixed most of the frame rate issues but not all.

This could be a deal breaker for me............it makes the game feel really unstable. Im also starting to see alot of morph tackles (suction), Db's sliding five yards to make a tackle. Ive never had a problem with maddens animations until this year.......im hoping this can be fixed but the dev's probably aren't even aware of it............

I have installed to the 360 HDD and noticed no issues.

I was gonna make a thread about this. I've never seen such a sloppy finnished game. The jerky, popping animation and warping in and out of poses is such crap. Did anyone do any quality control on this game?

obviously not...........this is a very important element that needs to be addressed asap........

Can they patch this? Any word on a patch? This is issue #1 then the crappy tackling should be 2

In terms of on-field action, my game on the PS3 is pretty smooth. I've only seen very minor slowdowns on a couple of plays. There is a lot of stuttering and drops in framerate though when it comes to cutting in and out of cutscenes and replays, or when the camera pans back when you are getting ready to kick the ball off at the start of the half/game or after a score.

I experienced some frame rate issues when the ball was being snapped and it was really throwing my game off. I installed it to my Xbox hard drive and haven't had an issue since.

Yep, I have noticed this pretty much right away. You know exactly when the ball is going to be snapped because the game freezes for a second. Also, in the cut scenes, the animations are very choppy and it's so hard to watch.

The animation in-game or in the cutscenes are not smooth at all. Ncaa runs so much smoother its almost like night and day............need to drop a line to the devs to see if we can get this thing patched. Does anyone know how get in contact with Ian or any of the top devs?

I have the PS3 version and as like I have mentioned in other threads I have experienced a screen flash or white graphical white flicker at times. It happens during play but mainly during cutscenes & replays. Also the portions of players & refs bodies flicker in & out in different colors at times as well. I seen a ref's body flicker yellow for a moment. I did exchange the game for a new copy at EB games but the same thing still happens. When I played at detroit in exhibition mode it flickered pretty bad. I checked all my other games, movies and LCD tv & PS3 connections were all fine. Has anyone else on the PS3 had this problem?

I should say, I'm not having any issues during actual play. The problems I see are during cut screnes, etc. I haven't copied the disc to my HDD, though. I'll try that and see what happens. As a side note, I have the new remodeled 360.
