Bobby Valentine made a comment about wanting to abducting a Minnesota player and putting him in his trunk. He thought highly of the kid but the way he said it was just wrong but I LMFAO!!!!!

I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Biggest load of crap on TV.

Glorified HR derby...giant goofball kids who look like they're 32...hardly any strategy or nuances of the game.

      It's a joke.

Until the move the fences way back and make the field bigger this will remain unwatchable.

Hawaii and New Jersey was amazing just now. Some of the best defensive plays I have seen on any level in a game. Much more entertaining and exciting to watch than MLB.

Yeah, the short fences, length between bases, and short mound are all just annoying to watch. I saw a kid the other day barely make contact and hit it out to straight away center. Move the fences, bases, and mound back and then I'll watch.

So... make it not Little League to find out the championship Little League teams. Fantastic.

I'm saying make the official Little League fields bigger for the entire season, not just the Little League World Series. When I played at that age, and when my brother played a few years ago (non-Little League) the game was much different than what is on tv. I think these kids are talented enough, or at least they should be, to play on a bigger field.

If you want the Little League to be not so much of a "Home Run" derby as people say it is, get rid of the aluminum bats and go back to wood.

The games on tv show the elite teams winnowed down by months of competition.

The Williamsport fields are actually 12% larger than your typical LL field. It's the basic physics of 70+ mph pitching being hit by some very capable 12/13 year old hitters that makes the field sometimes look ridiculously small. For 99% of LL participants, though, the normal 200 foot distance is hardly comical.

Asking for even bigger changes would be akin to putting on a basketball tournament, seeing bigger, more talented teams progress, then because they're bigger and more talented, order the last games played with 12 foot rims.

anyone watching this washington/texas elimination game with washington pulling a real life cheese with their pickle move? They intentionally play pickle with the runner between first and second and try to get the runner on third to score at home (hard to explain a little..but if you see it..it seems pretty cheap)
I wish everyone talked like Larry Merchant.
