I don\'t understand this...
 

Why does Madden '98 for PSX graphically look better than Madden 2003 for PSX? I mean they now try to add all 37 polygons that they can add, and it looks VERY bad and choppy. Why do they try to torture us on the PSX now?

Not to mention ALL sports games on the PSX. MLB 99 looked terrific, and then MLB 2003 for PSX kinda... sucked. What's up with that?

Maybe it looks worse cuz back then, it was the best graphics available, so you were amazed by them, but now, since the PS2, XBox, and GC are out, these graphics just suck.

No, I have a PS2, don't worry... I'm getting ESPN Football.

I was just wondering why though. Don't worry... with the lack of polygons that madden has right now, I wouldn't be surprised to say that Madden 98 looks the same as 2004 if not better.
