Kooontz's AA sliders with results

In my online dynasty with some friends, we've been tracking the statistics of each user's game. The sliders we've been using are listed below. We started tracking after the patch was released. You can scroll the pages to compare the user statistics vs the cpu statistics.

https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?...en&output=html

All-American
7 min qtr
Normal speed, threshold 20

Category User CPU
QB Accuracy 35 55
Pass Block 50 50
WR Catching 55 50
RB Ability 50 60
Run Blocking 50 70
Pass Coverage 50 60
Pass Rush 50 55
Interceptions 30 40
Rush D 40 60
Tackling 45 50
FG Power 35 35
FG Accuracy 35 55
Punt Power 50 50
Punt Accuracy 50 75
KO Power 45 45

The cpu ypcarry is a little low when compared to the actual college football 2010 averages, but we're ok with it since most user teams are in the top 25 with good defenses.

Re: Kooontz's AA sliders with results

We've been getting realistic results across the board. Recent User losses to the cpu include Ohio State over Penn State in week 11 and Virginia Tech over Miami in week 12 to decide the Coastal division winner.

Some teams like Oregon have been tough against the run. The CPU YPC seems so low because of a high number of sacks. Against good rushing teams such as Stanford, Oregon has given up realistic numbers on the ground tho. Otherwise these sliders have done well and have given realistic statistics when compared to the actual NCAA statistical averages of last year.

don't you have issues with the cpu QB going nutso? at 45 CPU ACC a 71 rated QB just went 19/24, 21/25, 22-24 in 3 games.

Re: Kooontz's AA sliders with results

Well we're getting pretty realistic results. We only have 3 undefeated user teams left, Oregon, Florida St, and Boise. Here are the CPU's passing stats against User teams.

60.34% comp. pct
14.264 Yards per completion
8.607 Yards per attempt

These are the NCAA's actual 2010 averages via www.ncaa.com/statistics

59.05% comp. pct
12.138 yards per completion
7.168 yards per attempt

Granted they are a little high, but most Users are using teams in or around the top 25. Therefore the CPU is often coming from behind and passing more than against the average opponent. Each user's stats versus the CPU are tracked via:

I am not sure that over 1000 yards, and over 700 yards passing is all that realistic. Georgia's offense is very very pedestrian, and Miami's offense while talented, not sure they put up near 500 yards buy maybe 1 or 2 times, if that last year.

don't get me wrong, I think the sliders look good, maybe just some minor tweaking needs to be done.

Re: Kooontz's AA sliders with results

Yeah you're right, those are pretty high. We've definitely had some games like that in the dynasty. But for comparison we've also had low yardage games like Cal 17 vs Oregon(user) 20

Cal - Oregon
1st Downs 23 - 23
3rd down efficiency 45.45 - 55.56
4th down efficiency 100 - 0
Total Yards 342 - 374
Passing 176 - 164
Completion Attempts 14 - 21 --- 13 - 17
Yards Per Pass 8.38 - 9.65
Rushing Attempts 27 - 30
Yards Per Rush 3 - 3.97
Turnovers 3 - 3
Fumbles Lost 1 - 3
Interceptions Thrown 2 - 0
Possession 13:37 - 14:23

This is why I've been trying to use the dynasty's averages compared to the NCAA 10 averages. It's not completely realistic because we don't want to play with 10 minute quarters to get the correct amount of plays, but for 7 minute quarters we're getting realistic stats without having to dedicate an evening for each game.
