He drafts strictly speed...he has players such as Desean Jackson, Johnny Knox, Darren Sproles, Jared Cook, etc...all speed demons at the skill positions. And Donovan McNabb is his QB...
His game plan is to hike the ball, scramble back as far as possible, and wait for his crappy receivers to get off the jams and then burn down or across the field. If the pressure is chasing him back, then he'll run to the side. Contain doesn't keep him in, Man coverage gets burned, and receivers seem to always outrun zones.
what in the world is there to do? a few of my friends who are also in the league were conversing about this, trying to figure out what is there we can do. One of them brought up the idea of learning how to nanoblitz...but i personally think nano blitzing is too much work, particularly with this system. Is there a particular coverage (man or zone) that would be recommended for this type of play? is nanoblitzing really the answer? or is it all about something else that I don't know?
Thanks
