nagging injuries
 

does 'madden' have nagging injuries? by that i mean instead of a guy getting hurt and then just missing time that maybe he tweaks his ankle but still plays the rest of the game but at a reduced rating for things like speed, etc.

it's always bugged me in football games how you don't have banged up players. i think it would make the games a lot more realistic and fun if, for example, you know your starting left tackle is nursing a sore hamstring but your backup is not very good so you keep him in. however, you are playing a team with great de's so do you run plays that keeps the backs in to block on pass plays, etc.

sorry for the rambling post...i guess the bottom line is does madden have this?

Yes, they have this. If a guy is injured for the rest of the game. You have the option of bringing him back in with reduced ratings. He will be listed a probable. Also, you can see some equippment will be added to the injury.

Yep...and they also have probable questionable and doubtful before each game which is pretty cool.

cool...thanx guys...last year i played 2k3 and before that, well, i think madden for sega genesis...so i'm just getting back in the video game world.
