    ACQB M11 Scouting Reports

Once you play a guy you can put a scouting report here so their next opponent can check it out

    Eagles

    Offense:
    Jam Deshean Jackson
    Watch out for crossing routes/slants
Also watch out for quick passes to the te
Doesn't run the ball much but when he does it's out a passing formation
Lines Deshean Jackson up in the slot

    Defense:
Plays to stop the pass, so run the ball
    Front 7 isn't real fast
Test the safeties by throwing a few deep throws

    Bears

    Offense:
Runs Matt Forte a lot off tackle
If you can stop Forte you stop his offense
Culter has a strong arm but often throws into coverage so go for the int not swat

    Defense:
    Plays real solid run D
Doesn't blitz a lot but when he does the flats are wide open
Plays a lot of man and presses your wr's, so be patient and the deep pass will be open on the sidelines

    Special Teams:

Has amazing kick returners so you might want to squib kick. Returned 2 kicks vs me.

    Colts:

    Offense:
    Manually cover Dallas Clark.
They run lots of shotgun three wide for most of the game.
I wouldn't even bother playing the run.
When you do make contact with Addi go for the big hit. He break wayyyy more tackles than he should.
You must disrupt Manning, he is surgical with his balls, lol

Defense: Just run your offense as usual. With Bob Sander out for 8 weeks I would attack the secondary w/o discrection

SEA: Leans heavily on Houshmanzadeh. Lots of in-breaking routes to him. Keys include auto-motion routes breaking in and occasional positioning in the slot, as well as deep in-breaking routes to Tate from the slot. Minimal commitment to the run game. 4-wide attack with emphasis on quick release. Strong corners, strong backers, weak front.

NO: Emphasis on quick release in the passing game. Very good ball distribution in the passing game. Frequent checkdowns to both HB and FB. Excellent blitz pickup adjustments renders high-pressure schemes ineffective. Minimal commitment to the run. Weak defensive front outside of Vilma. Strong user play with Vilma makes short passes over the middle dangerous. Sharper must be avoided. Corners are solid but unspectacular.

KC: Weak offensive line makes for easy pressure; Cassell becomes very erratic under pressure. Offensive keys include the streak to McCluster in the slot and the potential movement of Charles into the WR position. Offense makes excellent use of play clock, making late adjustments to fronts and coverage looks. Disguise of defensive intentions until late in the play is imperative. Severely limited athleticism in the DL and LB corps. Challengeable with short to intermediate routes. Lots of dirty boxes to compensate for soft front seven.

ATL Strong commitment to the run. Gets the ball out quickly in the passing game. Norwood moves around the formation. In the trips right bunch, Norwood will occupy the middle position and run a deep cross from time to time. Make sure the matchup there is right. From the same formation White will run the wheel. White also runs the wheel from the 4-wide set with him on the left outside position. Both are potentially big yardage plays. Norwood runs the HB Angle from the gun; watch for and user-patrol that play. High-pressure defensive scheme. Strong run defense. Lots of dirty boxes and blitzes. Slow with screens and dumpoffs to the backs. Mix in shotgun sets to attack the heavy blitz sets. Vulnerable to passing attacks toward the middle.

PHI Offense built around Jackson and Celek. Passing attack most effective in short to intermediate range. Celek is a critical redzone target; look to slants toward him in the red zone. Kolb is erratic under pressure, so bring heat early. Minimal commitment to the run game; alternates McCoy and Bell. Key: Bell is the inside runner; when he enters the game, play the inside. Defense is extremely vulnerable to strong rushing attacks, so emphasize the run. PHI will overcommit with run blitzes to mask deficiencies. Plan to use screens and quick-hitting plays to capitalize on blitz tendencies. Defensive key: PHI will go to the 1-5-5 when in trouble. Study the package in practice, note weak points (often the middle of the field), and audible to attack those. 1-5-5- look does not always mean a rush; PHI will run zone packages from that look, so make disciplined reads.

        Redskins:

        Offense

when you see Willie Parker enter the game be prepared for a quick snap toss, toss sweep play. Make sure you fan your OLB and DE

He only runs outside with Parker.
The other backs will run it down your throats if you let5 them.
Santana Moss is a threat b/c of his speed. Look for lots of deep crossing routes.

Keep Donovan Mcrib in the pocket, If you see him escape the pocket and sprint outside the tackles immediatley find santana moss and manually disrupt the play. You must stay in you assignment. He likes th throw from left to right. So if you see Moss lined up on the left side expect him to cut across the field deep.

Also keep an eye on Clay cooley. He catches passes when you are too focused on moss.

        Defense

Cover up, Cover up, Cover up!!! He will hit you and then go to work on you. You must limit fumbles. If you see a defender closing just get out of bounds.

Don't bother running the ball at Fat albert Either, that will be just a wasted down. Run away from him and use two gap runs. even if you dont get much yardage it keeps him honest.

Practice user catches. The minute you see a defender beat and the ball is in the air, immediately control the Wr and try to either jump ball or shorten the route. This is paramount. Basilisk knows how to time his user player switches almost perfectly while the ball is midfight. His lbs also knock down a good bit of passes.

Always know where Arakpo is. He will blitz and play coverage.

Last but not least COVER UP THE BALL OR YOU WILL PAY....

          San Diego:

          Offense:

Mixes the run and pass pretty well. Likes to throw deep to the outside. Changes plays well at the line. Gave up on the run a little early at one point, but still will attempt to run it at you between the tackles with Matthews. Be prepared to put a lot of LBs in hook zones over the middle as Gates is difficult to cover on short crossing routes. You can get pressure if you take away that pass. Takes risks throwing into coverage, if you have an elite safety, be prepared to have at least one over the top to guard against the deep ball. Rivers is accurate even under pressure.

          Defense:

Plays solid coverage with an average amount of blitzing. Plays the run extremely well by being able to sniff out the proper gaps. You can run between the tackles using isolation runs but be patient when following your Full back. Plays very aggressively and can be fooled with draws and counters since he likes to gamble on running downs. Manually covers very well and takes away short underneath routes.

Overall, good player and a significant challenge.

In all seriousness, it's nothing more than a way to complain about the way people play.

I was just using it as an opportunity to compliment Dubbs for kicking my ***. He played great.
