Question in regard to in-season progression or lack there of

Does anyone know if a players ratings increase at the end of the year has any correlation with their playing time and stats for the year? Or is it just based on the coach? Reason i'm asking is if its providing my players any benefit to play the bench in blowouts and such or not. I do it under the impression, my subs will be better next year than if they never played a snap.

No it doesn't matter if you provide your backups with playing time or not, they will progress the same either way.

      I think Stack is right.

Based on my experience after 5 dynasty seasons it appears that playing time & season performance do NOT affect progression.

Did anyone else notice that players with go on hotstreaks still.. Maybe the in-season progression is still there and the devs can just turn it back on..

Idk about that. In my OD my friend playing as penn state signed two 5 star running backs. One was an 82 and one was 81. He played the 81 and red shirted the 82. The 81 ran for over 2,000 yards. The next off season the 81 progresses +6 while the 82 only goes up 2. Of course there is no way to know for sure, but i like to think he got the stat boost because of his performance on the field.
