I'm pretty sure I owned Double Dribble on the NES, but it got shelved in favor of Tecmo Bowl and Blades of Steel.

The first NBA game I truly got into was Lakers vs. Celtics on the Genesis. Just seeing real NBA teams with their proper uniform colors, etc., it seemed so "life-like" back then, which is funny when you think about it nowadays.
