What do the different colors mean in Zone D?

are they just for areas on the field?
e.g. Blue for defensive backfield, Yellow for mid field, Purple for flats, etc?

Am I missing something?

Yeah. It's the area of the field they guard. The yellow zone is called a hook zone and generally guards 6-8 yards behind the LOS. The purple zone is called a hook zone and guards about 12-18 yards to the sidelines. The baby blue is called a flat zone, and guards about 2-5 yards to the sidelines. I don't really know what the Dark blue is called. I think its "Deep 2A", but Im not sure, but it guards deep downfield.
