This year, I've decided to skip out on FIFA 11. As a PS2 PES fan of old, I believe it's time to return to PES 2011 after 3 years with FIFA. However, I've updated the FIFA 10 squads just in case I feel the urge to return to FIFA. If anyone in the OS community is interested, I will post my FIFA 10 Squad Update file.
NOTE: I own North American FIFA 10
Updates include:
-Summer 2010 Transfers: Footballers retiring or transferring to a team nonexistent in FIFA 10 will be placed in Free Agency
-Using default Club Formations, default Player Stats according to EA Patch/Latest Squad Updates
-Starting XI with Subs and Reserves to the best of my ability
-Uniform Number Changes/Updates (ex. Robin Van Persie from #11 to #10, Robinho #70 at Milan)
-Renaming Generic Stadiums for Completed Clubs (ex. Tottenham v Arsenal at White Hart Lane instead of Fussballstadion)
Updates do not include:
-Created players: If a young Academy player wasn't in the game and made a club's first team, I won't create him. If a player from a nonexistent club joins a club present in FIFA 10, I won't create them.
As of now, I've completed...
-2010-2011 English Premier League Clubs
-2010-2011 Champions League Group Stage Clubs
-2010 Copa Libertadores Finals Clubs
-2010 FIFA World Cup Finals Clubs
-2010-2011 Europa League Group A Clubs
...so clubs not present in FIFA 10, but participating in the upcoming Champions League will be nonexistent (There's FIFA 11 for that).
A list of the clubs I've finished as found in FIFA 10:
-Transfers: Updated as of Sept 21, 2010
-Starting XI and Subs: Updated as of Sept 19, 2010
Footballers needing updated numbers: (Updated as of Sept 19, 2010)
Problems:
-My Virtual Pro, he's currently in Arsenal reserves and I have no idea how to remove him. PROBLEM SOLVED
-I believe this file may restrict one from obtaining trophies. I don't know for sure, but I'll test it out on my mate's account to see if anything comes up. PROBLEM SOLVED
I may release the updated squads depending on how much interest and continue updating thereafter as well. At the moment, I'm thinking that I may possibly update clubs participating in the upcoming Europa League and MLS Playoffs.
