This will be another close Cowboys Redskins game, just hope we can pull this out. would love to go 1-0 to start the year.

    Gotta keep Mcnabb protected.

If the Cowboys can't get that OLine healthy the Deadskins will definitely give us a fight.

The Cowboys will come out strong after a horrible preseason and beat Mcnabb for a 4th straight time. Can't wait for this one.

thinking washington will upset this one. that line for dallas looked very shaking in preseason if they get pressure with front seven . romo guaranteed to throw one up for grabs

Interesting note: the projected #2 receiver for the Redskins right now is Joey Galloway. Galloway is 38 years old and has but 20 catches over the last two seasons.

If the Cowboys play up to the level which they are capable, I frankly don't see them having much trouble dispatching the Redskins.

Me thinks Clinton Portis shows some youth, and runs strong against the Cowboy defense.

                  Cowboys are overhyped.

Re: Week 1 Sunday Night Football: Cowboys @ Redskins

Another factoid: with Wade Phillips at head coach and with Tony Romo starting, the Cowboys are 3-0 in season openers. The Cowboys also have won the last three matchups against Washington, as well as the last three matchups against teams led by Donovan McNabb.

Right now, offensive guard Montrae Holland and right tackle Robert Brewster are listed as starters on the Cowboys' website in place of Kyle Kosier and Marc Colombo, respectively; I believe both Colombo and Kosier are nursing injuries right now, though I don't recall for sure. Also, it looks like Marion Barber has reclaimed the top spot on the Cowboys' RB depth chart from Felix Jones, though undoubtedly we'll see some of Barber and Jones (and hopefully some of Tashard Choice as well).

I'd expect Dez Bryant to be available for the opening game, but given his lack of preseason playing time I'm not sure how much he'll play. With the trade of Patrick Crayton and Jerry Jones' ego, he might be forced into the team's 3WR packages immediately; I'd sort of expect more opportunities for Martellus Bennett, Sam Hurd, and Kevin Ogletree, however, if Bryant isn't up-to-speed with the offense.

I personally think this could go either way. My heart is with my Boys but the shaky o-line and the fact we averaged 50 yards rushing a game for the preseason makes we think the Skins could possibly sneak out a close one. Also our Defense got shredded by the Chargers and Texans starters. If the Cowboys get the run game on track they win. Luckily the Skins are also not playing well. Can't wait for Sunday Night!

What do you mean by this? The 'Skins first team offense has beaten everybody the've faced. (Don't listen to Rex Ryan, we were winning 6-5 when we pulled our starters and then their starters score a TD on our back-ups). We have outscored all first team offenses when our starters have been pulled (minus the Ravens, but we were tied except they went for a fake punt in preseason!). But you really have't seen much of it. 2 drives against the Bills, pulled 2nd quarter against the Ravens it was 3-3 without the fake punt.
