    Online confusion...please help

I ususally never play NHL online...but this year my buddy picked up the game.

last night, we went online and tried to play some games on the same team.

I chose the "online teamplay" option. Only the 2 of us joined...which was fine.

My question is: Where/How to change settings? The game speed was way too fast and I couldn't figure out how to change it. What about the sliders? We couldn't even figure out how to pull the goalie at the end. The only setting I could change was the camera.

My other question is: Can the 2 of us play on the same team ag the cpu in a online season?

Is there a way for the 2 of us to get on the same EAHL team?

what is the best way to 2 friends to play on the same team ag other players?

    Thanks for help.

I don't believe you can change the sliders online... we need to wait for a tuning option for that.

You will need to be on the same console to do a co-op season.

It is fairly simple to get you both on an EASHL team. You can either create your own(if you want it to be just the two of you), or you can join one. There is an extension of OS based on the EASHL. You will find people discussing NHL 11, as well as a recruiting section for you guys.

The best way to play on a team online would be to play an OTP game. However, if you are on the same console, you can play together without restrictions by position.

    I hope this helps!

So let me get this straight....

Online 2 player coop games....we can't change any sliders? including game speed? What about difficulty? Is there a setting for difficulty?

That seems pretty weak that you can't alter settings for a coop online team game.
