With the surge of newly created and redundant threads lately, I wanted to shift the focus away from the gameplay and more onto the 'behind the scenes' stuff. IF THIS SEEMS TO BE TOO REDUNDANT TO OTHER THREADS, PLEASE CLOSE IT, MODERATORS...MY APOLOGIES.
I, for one, love the Association and have played it going back to 2K2 (I controlled Duncan, brother controlled Iverson...lol). Last year (2K10), I used the Grizzlies and got into middle of the third season (12 min quarters) before finally giving up due to boredom (plays weren't run often at all, bad spacing killed my team, etc). I had developed Gasol into a solid 18/8 guy, had Gay averaging 24 a night and Mayo chipping in 16-18 a night off the bench (John Salmons started). Thabeet was a borderline acceptable offensive player and dominated defensively as the starting center (Gasol was PF).
This year, I think I'm going to go with either the Jazz, Grizzlies, or potentially the Knicks. Deron Williams finally looks explosive and could be fun to use with his illest of all time handles, despite the lack of roster depth. Obviously, Rudy is my boy so Grizzlies are in contention. Danilo Gallinari is someone I've been following since he was drafted (he played like a European LeBron James pre-injury) and I'd love the challenge of taking NYK back to the limelight.
What about you guys?

Hopefully he develops under your association.
