Does anyone play Heisman Default Sliders?
I've been playing with the updates and tuner and it seems my man defense is no longer successful with the latest update or tuner. The only way to beat the computer with default slider heisman prior was to blitz and have man defense. They eat up the zone.
Is the less than stellar secondary coverage due to the update or tuner? Has anyone made any slider adjustments (just one or two teaks from default) to compensate after the new patch? If so, can you let me know what you did? |
Re: Does anyone play Heisman Default Sliders?
Yeah, zone coverage was certainly weakned with the patches/tuners. It seems to have improved a bit with the latest tuner, but it's still not where it was pre-patch.
I do play default Heisman and have only made a couple of changes: CPU Accuracy 30 CPU Catch 45 |
Re: Does anyone play Heisman Default Sliders?
I play default Heisman w/ Texas and let the Cpu play Defense and recruit. On offense 90% of the time i'll pick coach plays. (essentially playing Offensive Coordinator) I also set the recruiting plan for my type of offense and leave D default. Its pretty fun, realistic O, and not the stress of trying to stop the computer on defense.
You need sliders to fix the game so you can open up the playbook and play D. Check out my Anti-cheese Sliders |
Re: Does anyone play Heisman Default Sliders?
OK, I checked my settings again (haven't played in a few days) and see that I have CPU Pass Accuracy @ 20, not 30. CPU is more accurate after the patches; pre-patch you could play default across the board and the CPU would complete 50-65% of its passes. You'd see overthrows, missed passes and drops. Post-patch, CPU will often turn into Robo-QB with the sliders close to default.
