    F1 2010 Teams

I was wondering if anyone has any information about the differences between the teams. I assume that they all have a basic set of 'stats'?

In particular, I'm interested in the starting teams (for a 7 year career). I tried out HRT, Lotus and Virgin but I can't feel a difference because they all have Cosworth engines.

Hopefully as we get the chance to play the game more and discover the strengths of different teams, we can add to this thread.

There is a difference. I am currently driving a Lotus in my career, and i have tried other teams, like Ferrari, and Mercedes when i am trying to learn the track in time trial, because i dont want to use up all my tires for the weekend. The main thing i see a difference in is how the car changes gears, and how much quicker that happens. In the low end cars there isnt much difference b/w them, and the same for the top line cars. The top line cars handle better also. You really cant go wrong with any of the three teams you can choose form in the beginning of your career. And you can win races in those lower end cars also. I won Sakir once i was able to learn the track. I have my setting on hard and ai difficulty is professional with all my assists turned off except for a b s and driving line. To me the key is to learn how to go fast around the track. It took me about 30 laps before i felt like i was fast enough to race and i was, atleast on those settings

I havn't got the game yet, planning on this weekend though. But wouldn't turning ABS off make you faster? Unless your fairly new to racing games then fair enough. In NFS: Shift you had the option of ABS, and turning it off would usually make me 3 seconds quicker on most tracks, as you had full control of were you would brake, which comes in handy when overtaking & defending yourself on corners.

I turned the ABS on b/c i was having problems blowing my tires even when i was being easy on the brakes, and now that i think about it i guess it would make you a little faster, b/c you can be more aggressive on the brakes. ill have to take the time to learn how to drive w/o any ABS. I just think its a little more fun w/ ABS off, just not as realistic
