I am now in yr 7 with MTSU and haven't lost a game..AA adjusted sliders... i had a few close ones though couple in double OT and another in 6 OTs against Ohio State in the Rose Bowl. I won 1 NC beat TCU BY 4... I have 6 sunbelt Conferences Championships.. by now in 09 & 10 i feel i would of been at least in CUSA.. Has anyone dominated there conference but still stuck? i feel we are ready to go!

After 1 year in the Sun Belt with my TB Murray State, I lost one game and got invited to the SEC (which I declined) so I guess it's just all different. -

A team in the bigger conference's has to do poorly enough to get kicked out before you can get an invite, that could happen any year, or never... just depends on how the Vanderbilts, Dukes, Iowa States.... etc etc do each year.College Football

I've finished two undefeated seasons with San Jose State, including a Sugar Bowl win vs. Florida State, and have not been invited yet. *sighs*
Before my previous dynasty file got corrupted, I had done four undefeated seasons with Kent State and not received an invite.Comment

I'm currently three years into my SDSU dynasty without an invite.
First year (1 star) went 11-2 and finished the year ranked 22. Second year (2 star) went 10-3 and finished the year ranked 13. Currently in third year (3 star) and sitting at 4-0 and currently unranked. Even if I receive an invite at the end of this season, I'd probably decline it because my team's ratings are a bit too low to compete with the big boys. Defense at a C-, offense at C, special teams at B.

Yeah I think it is based on your Program Prestige. If you get to say 3-star and a team in your corresponding BCS conference, like Vandy, goes down to 1-star, you have a CHANCE to get invited.
After that, it is just random if the game decides to give it to you or not. One person here suggested saving and re-loading over and over until you get the invite.Click here to read my dynasty report:

I'm in year 5 w/ my created NY STate school in the MAc (replaced Buffalo). Won 1 NC, been to another, have routinely killed MAC schools and haven't lost a MAC conference game yet. 4 straight MAC titles, just recruited the #1 HB in the class. No invites. I scheduled #3 LSU in Baton Rouge (won 31-28), and will have my regular season finale sometime this week at home vs #9 Boise State. If I don't get an invite after this season, I may quit and start over with a C-USA, Big East or ACC school until Christmas. I hate this conference re-alignment...Big 10, Big 12, Pac 10, MWC and WAC are all changing. I thought about a Sun Belt team but I don't play enough to have time to build a team up before CoD comes out and that takes over my life.Comment

Im having the same problem with North Texas (ironically a rival of MTSU in the Sun Belt). Ive gone like 76-14 in 7 seasons and have been a 6 star prestige for a couple years. Ive gone like 10-2 against ranked opponents and 2-4 in bowl games including 2 BCS bowls (1-1 in those). I really thought i would have been invited to C-USA, no team there is above a 3 or 4 star, and im sure some team has lost nearly double digit games a year. I would schedule more games against them to make sure but i have to play at least 3 ranked games to have a C strength of schedule. The first couple of years i played easy opponents out of conference (including 2 rivals), but for the last 4 years i have definetely played tougher people. Its really sad im a 6 star in the Sun Belt and no invite. (I had an idea for future games, that when you do move up in conference your stadium can get bigger by certain amount of seats tied to the conference you get invited to, bc my 27,000 would not match a BCS conference.)
I also wonder if being in the Sun Belt hurts my initial interest in recruits, bc while i am a 6 star i have low amounts of 5 stars interested and if i have 5 or 4 stars interested they are usually in Texas and im either high (1-2) or low (8-10). Does anyone else notice this?Comment

Im in year 4 of my San Jose St Dynasty and lost a total of 3 games and am sitting at 5 star team prestige with a couple of big recruiting classes but still no invite. Im getting ready to quit and start over with another team. One of my favorite things to do is get a team like that (non BCS) and build them up to a BCS conference invite but havent been succesful yet

Problem is I'm pretty sure if you turn an invite down once you'll never get any ever again. In last years game I got BYU looking rally good and got invited to the Big 12, but I didnt think we were ready and wanted to go to the Pac 10. Never got an invite again... Long story short I won 3 NC's with Auburn.Comment
