What are some good defensive plays to nullify the Wildcat?

I'm in year 2 of my Seahawks franchise and through six weeks I had the number one rush defense in the NFL, but then I faced the Eagles who ran the wildcat a few times and absolutely decimated my run d ranking. I never allowed a 100 yard run game all of last season and this season as well, but they rumbled for over 200 yards on the ground.

So, what should I be calling to stop this? I run a 3-4 with NE playbook of D. Thanks.

I've always stacked the line when defending the wildcat and I don't think I've had a single Wildcat play go for over 10 yards, playing as Seahawks with their PB so I'm lining up 4-3 against the cat, in your case I'd bring those LBs in and get into the rushers face if you're playing 3-4.

90% of the time the Eagles will give it to Maclin when they are in the wildcat. Just blitz everyone to the opposite side of were he is, and crush him when he gets the ball.

I play the Eagles and use the Wildcat as my go to play to get a free touchdown. What I do is put Jackson at the sweep position, Vick for QB, and put a tight end at the slot receiver slot. Jackson is just too amazing in this set up I think I probably have a 50% chance to break off for a touchdown. The trick is to setup in the nickel Odd split setup if you have that avaible if not just set up in the 4-6 and have everyone shift to the opposite of the motion guy. Just stack the sweep side and you should be ok. The counter for the wildcat doesn't work at all so don't worry about that.

If you see the wildcat, audible into a blitz.

If you've kept most of the DL from Year 1, you should be fine. Red Bryant and Cole are both huge and their block shedding is good. They'll stop nearly anyone (and the LBs will clean up anyone else).

All out blitz will do the trick...

The Honorable Coach Ditka told me to use the 46... and you might as well user control the strong safety just in case the juice gets loose
