    #10 Utah @ Iowa State

Consider this the first true road test of this Utah team. Utes coming off of a bye week after thrashing San Jose State. Iowa State coming off a big home win over Texas Tech. I expect a great game.

No offense to Utah, but who have they beaten to warrant a top 10 ranking?
    ***My Teams***
    NCAA - Oklahoma Sooners
    MLB - St. Louis Cardinals
    NFL - Dallas Cowboys
    NBA - Oklahoma City Thunder

      Winless New Mexico
Winless in 1A San Jose St
UNLV with one win over New Mexico
Pittsburgh who beat winless FIU for their only 1A win

No team they've played has defeated a team with a win.

Teams ahead of them lost. Utah didnt. Thats how you get to the top 10 in the BCS.

So why aren't Missouri, Oklahoma State, Michigan State, and Michigan ranked higher? They have all played schedules much tougher than Utah.

Likewise, Arkansas is still ranked ahead of undefeated Missouri, Oklahoma State, Michigan, and Michigan State.

All I'm saying is that Utah's schedule has been a joke and their marquee win against Pitt in overtime doesn't look that good now. New Mexico is a high school team and that should even count as a win.

Like Cebby said, they have only beaten two teams that has one a game and that was UNLV who beat winless New Mexico and Pitt who beat winless FIU

Nothing like beating two teams that has "one" a game.

I meant to put "have won one game" game. Sorry, it was late and I was tired while typing on my Iphone.

Thanks for catching my typo though!

Because Utah was ranked higher than those teams. Thats how the BCS works. Whether they should be ranked that high is another story.

I never said anything about Utah being a deserving top 10 team. Pittsburgh was supposed to be a lot better than they turned out(shows you how much the early rankings mean). We have had a easy 1st half of schedule, the 2nd half of the schedule is going to be tough with TCU, Air Force, San Diego State, Notre Dame.

And it's not like Utah is the only team that has had easy games early in the year on their schedule. There are a lot of teams that are unproven. Yes Utah has had easy opponents, but at least they are blowing people out, you can't always say the same for other top 25 teams.

SD State was a Big 12 ref screw up from winning at Missouri. They would be ranked right now otherwise.

No they wouldn't. Kansas St and Northwestern would be ranked before they are. San Diego St starting off 4-0 wouldn't get them ranked.

Utah has shown they can play with the big boys. They have a good coach and a great homefield advantage.

That being said, is this Utah team really top 10 caliber or are they still living off what they accomplished a few years ago? I guess we will find out when they play TCU.

IMO, there is no way they should be ranked #10 right now. They haven't beaten anyone with a winning record. New Mexico, UNLV, and San Jose State are three of the worst teams in division 1 college football and Pitt was vastly overrated heading into the season.

I'm not sure Iowa State is much of a test although Iowa State has been playing a lot better this season.

They aren't a pushover, I remember last year they did win at Nebraska. This year they played K-state close on the road and last week they beat Texas Tech. We certainly won't take them lightly.
