How to call defensive plays?

Title pretty much says it all. I don't know what do u press to change from the default man on man D to a 2-3 zone or 3-2 zone. In 2k10 it was L1 I think, but this game it changed into a double team button.

same button as offensive plays I think

I believe, when on defense, hit right on the dpad and then choose the button corresponding to the defense you want to play.

This is probably a noob question but what's d-pad? And for offensive plays it's the L1 button, but on defence L1+player icon is who do u what to come help double team.

D-Pad is the 4-way directional pad on the controller. You have two analog sticks and a D-pad on both the PS3 and 360 controller.
