It's just that when a player already known for his excessive and colorful tattoos somehow surprises us with, quite possibly, the most excessive and colorful tattoo in NBA history? Well, it deserves to be recognized.

I remember when Ty Lawson was at UNC (and even during his rookie season last year), he was clean. no tattoos at all (at least that were visible), and I just saw a recent picture of him not long ago, and he has a huge, half sleeve on his left arm.

Is this dude serious with that school grade level artwork?

What is it with NBA players that they have to get the worst possible quality artwork done?

It's upsetting because they have the means to get world class work done

Also, Bird is a HUGE redneck, so this doesn't surprise me at all ha. He had the outline showing earlier in the year, but now it's pretty over-the-top with all the strong color. Ha, I love my Nuggets... buncha crazy bastards.

I bet it was some sort of peer pressure, I mean I found myself once looking for a player with no tattoos (which was difficult), and when I did he was European...
