Hey guys! I thought I would go ahead and start a new thread. What many of us here would like to see is a community file in which we pull together and develop ONE GREAT ROSTER FILE for the 360 based upon all the talent we have here in the OS Community.

I have already went over EVERY team and have provided all roster transactions, updated jersey numbers, and toyed with the rotations a bit.

Now, it's VITAL that we follow a certain order to be sure that we don't edit the WRONG file, so if you would like to help it would be MUCH APPRECIATED, but please don't jump ahead and edit the wrong rosters.

KRIEGZ now has the file and will work on CAP edits (he does GREAT work)!

Please start posting here what we need to add:

- RED KAFE will provide signature shots

I know there are others who add the other items that are necessary (nogster's tendencies, dunk edits, foul edits, coaching tendencies, etc.)

AS YOU POST HERE WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO TO HELP, I WILL EDIT THIS FIRST POST AND CREATE AN ORDER. WE WILL PROVIDE EACH OTHER WITH STATUS UPDATES!!!

(I'm not trying steal the show here, but I'm big on coordination and communication - it's just my nature. But I think this would be a great idea to bring the best of everything into ONE file!).

nice, this is what i was waiting for. should be awesome like it was over the summer for 2k10. if we can get accessories down, and eliminate generic shoes across the board then this file will be the best roster file in the history of sports games.

IMO it should work like this. over the years, some of the best seem to be from the following:

Rashidi's or Nogster's ratings
Nogsters tendencies (probably should go with his rotations too to maximize sim stats which are always on point)
Nogsters coach profiles
mkharsh33's jerseys
DC's dunk edits
DC's potential edits

gottibino's shoe edits
? accessory edits
? contract edits
? sig shots

I think you did a great job in doing so. I looked it over and you seem to be the only person that puts time in on roster updates. I rated it a 5! Do you plan to do the draft rosters as well. I looked alot of those over and people just screwed them up. They have people in the draft that are already in the league (ie. manny harris and sam young). Usually I do the draft and rosters as well but i have been putting my time into the Jordan Challenge and Practicing to get better.

rashidi was banned so we would have to check his blog for updates. kind of inconvenient. DC was banned a while ago, not sure where to find his edits, or if he even still does them.

Dakkon just posted DC's edits for 2K11 today. As I stated in the other thread I'm willing to Nogsters touches/playbooks/profiles and DC's edits.

yeah this would be awesome and the quickest. great job organizing mkharsh. i did something similar last year.

well we could check those out but honestly, i'd go with nogsters ratings in the time being then ratings tweeks could be adjusted. his tendencies are what really make the game realistic.

The only problem with Nog's tendencies is that he didn't post what he changed and for who.

nogter's roster should be used as a base. at the end, if people want to make all of the detailed edits like rashidi does, they can. imo nogster's roster by far is the most realistic in terms of both sim stats and actual in game experience. his attention to tendencies and determining how each rating, tendency, coach profile slider all affect each other is unparalleled. this trumps the more detailed rating edits if you want a sim experience.
