Re: What team is the hardest to rebuild?
Raiders, the worst contracts in the league constrict your ability. Some of the fewest good players, one of the worst QBs. One of the worst staffs even with Rob Ryan who is a good DC his defense wont be able to win you games with how terrible the offense will be. I was fired after my first season with the Raiders after going 2-14 despite all the changes i could do.
Falcons have like 65 mil. dollars in cap so you have plenty of opportunities to improve the roster which has very few bad contracts.Comment

Re: What team is the hardest to rebuild?
Raiders... huge long term contracts for a lot of bad players. There's several guys that'll cost you 5 million or more to keep and upwards of double that to cut. The Raiders are a real challenge with all that money tied up.There are two types of people on OS: Those who disagree with me, and those who agree.
The first kind is wrong. The second is superfluous.

Re: What team is the hardest to rebuild?
Raiders due to how screwy the contracts are. OMG, starting from pre-season is hell too. Also remember that starting from the off-season is ALWAYS gonna be easier because you can redo free agency and the 2008 draft.Look I'm a radical-I don't fit your game. I take it over, cementin' my name in lights. It lasts forever! So don't ya forget that when my name comes up point out I'm a legend- never to be forgotten, all my haters have been forgotten. Get ya popcorn popped cuz I'm a be a soldier til I'm 4ever stopped!

Raiders are the hardest because of the contract situations. Also the Lions (all you have is Megatron)Comment

Re: What team is the hardest to rebuild?
My vote goes to the Redskins or Dolphins. IF you cut a lot of the aging players when you take over the Skins. They have little cap room initially, but the real killer is the division they play in. Eagles, Giants and Cowboys are all better than you when you actually start with a major overhaul. At one point, I went 10-6 as the Skins and missed the payoffs because I went 0-6 in the division.
Chiefs and Dolphins have a lot of cap room to make it easy to sign free agents. Chiefs also have multiple first round picks, so it's not to rough. If you don;t sign free agents all over the place, the Dolphins are an absolute mess though.
Raiders cap is a pain, but on defense, they actually have some good players so you could wind up winning a lot of close games. Their division isn't particularly strong either.
Also, there are four draft paths in this game. One makes it almost impossible not to build a powerhouse team within a year or two. It's that stacked. Avoid that path at all costs if you want a challenge,Comment

Re: What team is the hardest to rebuild?
Yes, but it rotates. If you start with Draft Path 3, the next path you get is 4, path 1, path 2, and then path 3. If you get path 1 to start, you will next get path 2, path 3, and then path 4 and then back to 1, etc.Comment

Re: What team is the hardest to rebuild?
Yeah, like BSU said, it rotates. Save your game right before the last preseason game in your first season. Probably not spoiler stuff at this point, but just in case:
SpoilerThe path where Adam Scheffter talks about Jack English is the stacked path. It's seriously front loaded, based on the 1983 draft class that was so loaded with talent it looks like. So is the path where he talks about there being 4 dominant D-linemen in the draft. Ozzy Jones will be a RB in that path to help you identify it by name. Also, if you care about that sort of thing, the D-linemen path has screwed up player models. A lot of the QB's, WR's CB's and so forth look like huge, run stopping DT's. The other two paths offer a higher challenge in finding players and rebuilding if you're looking for a more realistic game. Just keep reloading from your save until you get the path you want.Comment
