I'm so sick of my teammates in My Player

All they do the entire game is jack up terrible shots. The only ones who aren't terrible are Durant and Aldrich.

Westbrook routinely comes down the court and without the ball ever touching anyone else's hands drives and pulls up for a terrible jumper.

Harden, instead of taking the open shots that I and Westbrook (when he does decide to pass it) create for him dribbles around aimlessly until a defender comes over then attempts a contested jumper.

Green, regardless of whether he's open or not, will shoot as soon as he touches the ball.

I try to just be a role player, but I have to score 25 ppg just to keep the team from getting blown out.

It's infuriating when we manage to pull within one after being down for most of the game then Green jacks up a three with 18 seconds left on the shot clock.

yep, seems like it doesn't matter what team you're on either. I was in Miami and the Big 3 was terrible, I had to score 25 or more a game for us to win. Finally got traded out to the Mavs (didn't ask for that team) and they are all terrible too.

Seems to me they just reduce the stats and AI of the user's team.

Yep even on default pro its just a 2 man show with me and durant, and i usually have to run plays to make him make good decisions.

Being a role player doesn't work in my player. Its too bad. It would have been really fun to be a cog in the wheel of a well greased offense.

So do you think the devs were specifically making that the challenge of My Player or they just couldn't get the game to work well in a player lock mode.

Has anyone one tried player lock in a game mode other then My Player? if so are your teammates just as dumb?

They do that cause the plays are broken, if you're a PG the offense runs a lot better, since Westbrook is handling the ball he's calling a play but since the diagrams don't show up the play gets broken when you're not in your spot.

yea I want off the knicks, can't wait till these playoffs are over. I'd have so many assists if my teammates would be able to score in traffic, seems like they can only score when WIDE open.

yea it's weird, it seems like I'm the only person who doesn't have this problem. I'm on the Warriors, and yes, Monta takes TERRIBLE shots, like 1-on-5 and he'll pull for a 3, but I average about 6 assists a game with David Lee pick and rolls, and dishing out to Curry for jumpers. Even when I was on Phoenix, I never had this problem. I play on All-Star difficulty too.

I gave up on this mode last year. Haven't even looked into it this year. And from what I've seen and read, I'm happy I did.

Im a PG in My Player. My teammates aren't too bad when I give them the ball in an offensive position. Whenever I get the ball to Zach Randolph in the low post it's normally an automatic assist. The experience may be totally different if I wasn't running the offense as I do see Gay or Mayo pulling wild shots from time to time. I always know when their shots are going to get out of control because it's normally when I'm freelancing and not running offense.

And have u noticed that when your teammates pass that same player the ball, he makes it more times than when u pass him the ball? Crazy huh?

I really hope they bring back auto calling plays from 2k10 (I heard it was in there?). I play as SG and the lack of calling plays really takes away a lot of fun b/c as a SG you rely a lot on plays getting you in open spots etc. Right now I get most of my points through fast breaks but not from "shooting".

I play with the Heat too...its hilarious how terrible decisions they sometimes make. If I play good we win, if not we loose.

Just want to let you guys know it doesn't matter what team you're on, it's the same thing. I've been on four and every one has been the same, regardless of team chemistry (the Suns weren't too bad though, Nash was fine except the wings couldn't hit a wide open three ever).

I'd give you some more details except now the game freezes for me after every MyPlayer game, two and a half years deep into my career. Thanks 2K!

I used to have this problem when I tried to play on HOF. I felt like they lowered my CPUs ratings and raised the other teams'. So I switched to Allstar and everything is great now. I'm on Miami and it's usually Wade, Me, James, Bosh, and whoever else. They do pretty good actually. It's hard to get assists sometimes though because they don't like shooting off the pass >:/ . Best I can do is catch em cutting to the basket

Good to know it's not just Me and the Bulls. I was seriously going to throw my remote at the TV because DRose kept throwing passing into heavy traffic in clutch situations. even when he already had 25-30pts and should be looking to break Andre miller down and score, he would get to the rim and right before he dunks/lays it up, he'd pass out the air to loul Deng for a 3pter. The absolute most frustrating thing ever!!!!

as the Center, I have learned to control the offense by playing the top of the key. I end up getting more TO's but at least the offense runs more smoothly. Esp with the backups. CJ Watson seriously believes he is the 2nd coming of Allen Iverson. 50games in and I've never seen him throw and assist to anyone other than me. Guess I'll stick it out instead of asking for a trade from my hometown team.
