    Week 7: 49ers @ Panthers (aka W.S.M.B. XLV)

Yeah baby! 9ers visiting Carolina. 1 & 5 at oh & 5. Another way to look at this game is Who Sucks More Bowl XLV

In all seriousness, no idea what to expect out of this game. My 9ers have been so vanilla and [almost entirely] predictable on offense this year.

Carolina are also having their struggles this year but Moore back in under centre and looks like Steve Smith back. Panthers definitely have a dangerous one-two punch out of the backfield...if they can push the ball down the field to back the defense up.

I'd like to hope the 9ers can build a bit of a streak but we'll just have to wait and see.

If the 9ers can't move the ball around on the Panthers depleted D and drop another one, I think it's going to be time to pull out the paper bag for the rest of the year

I was going to pick the 9ers in the suicide pool. This was before I realized Clausen was back on the bench.

All I know is that the 9ers need to win the next four games if they want to even try to be competitive within their division this season with the way the other teams are playing.

          Carolina should throw this game.

          And the rest of them.

Otherwise they're going to watch Buffalo run away with the #1 overall pick.

Generally teams from the west coast that play on the east cost play like ****, so I would have picked Carolina. But since they have been pretty bad, it's going to be a toss-up.

I think Carolina would be fine without the #1 overall pick, they aren't going to be picking a QB i would think(never know i guess) so picking anywhere in the top 10 isn't bad imo

Why are the 49ers wearing teal?

Frank Gore + A decent offensive line = 2,000, easy.

I don't care what anybody says, blocking, receiving, the ability to get yardage after contact... Frank Gore is the best RB in the NFL, period. My form of homerism is to automatically assume my team's players are terrible... Frank Gore is amazing.

The 49ers are the more talented team, so as long as they don't make too many mistakes they should take this one... then a game against Denver in London, and all bets are off when you have teams traveling around the world. All depends on who handles it better... so if they could get an upset there, go into the bye week at 3-5, then StL, TB, Ari, GB, Sea, SD, StL, and AZ to close out the season... they%2

Nate Clements isn't good. He makes me angry.

You're not the only one. He bit on another double move by a rookie. I'm getting tired of this guy.

A.Davis missing another block. Looks like Alex Smith's left shoulder may have some damage and might be out. Let's see what Carr can do.

That should have been a penalty.
