    Week 7: Bengals @ Falcons

Roddy White is getting things started off. Thanks for the bulletin board material, Roddy. You're going to know the names Johnathan Joseph and Leon Hall by the end of the game.

Atlanta receiver Roddy White had plenty to say about the Falcons upcoming game against the Bengals. You can find the video here. (http://roddywhite.tv/)

    The highlights:

“Chad Ochocinco, T.O., Pacman and the rest of the Cincinnati Bengals are coming to the Dome. We gonna send them home nice and quietly – tell ‘em leave quietly … this is my city – ATL.

“I’m gonna get working on the DBs they have – I don’t even know these guys names – but hey, I’m gonna go at them … and we’re going to have a successful Sunday.

” … This is not really a big game for us. It’s just the next game on the schedule. Unfortunately it’s against the Bengals and they think they’re good. I don’t even know their record – I think they’re like 2-4 … which is not really good.

“They do a lot of talking before the season started and now we’re gonna shatter their dreams, hearts and desires on Sunday.”

I don't agree with White responding like that, but in all fairness this incident was instigated by none other than Chad Ocho-Cinco... he sent the entire Falcons secondary boxes of T-Shirts featuring his Mad Chad character on them, and said he had special gifts for them when he gets into the endzone.

I just don't think it's smart to do that when your team is 2-3.

I didn't know Chad sent them anything. Yeah, I'd say that would be instigating things. I can't say I blame Roddy for not keeping his mouth shut then.

I'm pretty sure Joseph's not playing.

Frankly it doesn't really matter. The Bengals aren't going to win.

I'm expecting a close game.. Defense hasn't been the Bengals problem, it's been the O.

Even if Joseph doesn't play.. He has to go up against a Pro Bowl CB in Leon Hall.

I think the Falcons wins because Palmer keeps making stupid mistakes.

Bingo. I still think something is physically wrong with him and the organization won't come out and say it.

The Bengals aren't as bad as their record. They're more like the Cowboys of the AFC, just an underachieving team. They've been in every game so far this season, they just can't win with Palmer being as terrible as he's been. I don't think it's something physical. His throws seem fine, they're just really dumb throws. He's constantly throwing into coverage.

I went out on a ledge and picked the Bengals in the OS Suicide Pool. Hopefully they can pull this one out.

Not going to make any predictions, but with a week off, this is the type of game that I could see the Bengals pulling out of their a$$ just as everyone is counting them out. If nothing else, they have been incredibly resilient the past few years.

I like what the Falcons are doing, especially in the Dome. They should handle the Bengals, but the past few games, they have gotten off to horrifically slow starts and let teams that they should bully hang around. They are down Dunta which can't be overlooked. It's going to come down to how good their pass rush is, which is part of what did them in in Philly last week.

                      Should be a good game.

I agree on he's made some really dumb decisions at times but his receivers haven't helped either. I think sometimes he forces balls to TO and Chad into double and triple-coverage just to keep them happy. Something just isn't right though. Aren't you supposed to get better with more experience? Why does Palmer seem like he's gotten worse?

He doesn't seem to be able to throw the deep ball anymore. He hurt his elbow a couple of years ago when he smacked his arm on an opponents helmet on the follow-through of a pass. Missed most of the rest of that season. He's supposedly healed up but I don't think he has fully.
