    Buying NBA 2K....10 or 11?

I'm trying to save a few dollars and I dont like Jordan. Wud it behoove (sp?) me to buy NBA 2k11 because it's new and probably improved or can I get away with 2010? And should I get the draft combine for 2010? Thanks in advance...

2k10 is horrible compared to 2k11. I vote for u to get 2k11. P.s. I don't like Jordan neither so I'm not even going to touch the Jordan challenge thing.

2k11 is leaps and bounds better than 2k10 IMO.

Also for a better reason. 2k10 cost what, 30$. Then you'll need Microsoft points for the combine which is 20$. So it'll cost u 50 for 2k10+points when u can get a huge upgrade in 2k11 for 10$ more. Just saying.

Ideally, I'd say get 2K11. 2K kind of brainwashed people to think that 2K11 is all about Jordan. In my opinion, even with all the Insights, it was pretty late for the casual fan to realize that there's more than that. Don't fall for that and get 2K11, it's a great game...well, at least for me.

But you know what? If you really need the money and can't afford 2K11, go for 2K10. You know, video games are not the most important thing in the world. If you have higher priorities - don't spend all you have on video games. That's the way I see it.

um the draft combine is $5, so it would be $35 with you're logic there, i bet more around $25 cause i dont think 2k10 is more than $20. that being said...

2k11 is so much better than 2k10
and how can you hate mj?

No I said Microsoft points is 20$ not just the combined. And I don't hate MJ I just don't like any player who were known to be great(MJ, Kobe, Lebron, etc) before I started to watch basketball(2006) I like people who I watched develop(Rondo, Rose, Durant, etc.) It would seem dumb to say "oh yeah Jordan is great yada yada" if I never watched him play.

Nah, the draft combine is available, or was available, for $5.00 in the game marketplace buddy, no points needed.

Anyways, get 2K11, way better than 2K10, and like has been said above, even if you hate Jordan, this game is more than worth buying, the game play is leaps and bounds better than last year, as is everything else really. 2K11 is the best sports game I have ever played hands down.

Man... if your here asking this question in a sense your itching to spend your money just for the sake of playing "any" basketball game. If I were you... I'd be patient and wait until I stack enough grip to get a "new" game(2k11) rather than buying 2k10 then... have to turn around and purchase 2k11 anyway

I have to agree here... 2k11 is by far the BEST sports game I've ever played too!
Where they DO that? ? ?

Look, I'm on a limited post-grad budget. So there's a difference between $60 for 2k11 and $19 for 2K10. I played a half of 2k11 at a local Gamestop, liked it and I've always had a thing for "my player/career/legend" modes. I dont like pro dynasties, contracts and trades and such.

But I hear 2k11 is "better" but how? AI, ball physics, substitutions? I haven't had an NBA game since McGrady was on a cover, I'm not up on all the facets.

If you don't like Mike then don't buy either one...you don't deserve to play basketball.

No I'm kidding....I don't throw insults like some others.

But serious....2K11 is worlds better even without the Jordan Challenge. The game just comes alive on screen.

Well dude I surely hope you didn't take this as an insult because my intension wasn't to insult you, but whether your on a limited post-grad budget or not(been there, done that myself), if you don't have the funds right away take your time and do a little research on what 2k11 has to offer but for God's sake don't pick up 2k10.
