So Rondo Got his Headband Removed in the roster update

Rumors have it that since the NBA banned him from wearing his headband upside down, he decided to just not wear one at all. And 2k immediately got rid of his headband in game too.

Now, ever since the game has come out I've been begging and getting on my knees for them to switch the knee that Kobe has the knee sleeve on. They have it on his left knee when really it should be on his right one.

Not only that, but in the previous roster update I noticed that they added finger straps to Kobe's fingers to help resemble the one that he wears on his right index finger, but still neglect the fact that they placed the knee sleeve on his healthy knee rather than the on where he got surgery on (Right Knee).

I mean just at least show your previous cover man some love.

P.S. I'm no huge accessory freak but when you do something backwards, it does bother me seeing it, especially when it's easily fixable within a matter of seconds unlike the Cavs court.

Your really crying about the fact that Kobe has a knee brace on the wrong knee man?

^That's my point. Nobody is crying here, just trying to figure out why Rondo gets so much more love over Kobe. If they didn't update Rondo so immediately, I wouldn't have made this thread to begin with.

Now, let's try and be men about this topic and turn it into a discussion, rather than for you people to try and criticize me for making a point.

2K are maybe not aware of the issue.

Did they give Jimmy his arm sleeve and knee strap?

The real issue here is how much of a power trip david stern has gone on in the last couple of months. I bet you enything it wont be long before players can only wear NBA Brand shoes... That would officialy be the end of days for me as a basketball fan.

I thought the issue was Kobe not getting enough love (as usual...*sarcasm*).

As for the real NBA... Stern has created this "looks are more important than the game itself" monster. He wanted to make the league more popular and let players have the freedom to "express themselves" and make themselves look like clowns. Now he needs to deal with it. Good luck with that, Dave...

Well I mean if he's going to get strict with the headbands, he should also limit the amount of tattoo's players have too, cause to be honest, they're getting quite ridiculous to say the least.

And also, like I said in my first post, I'm no accessory freak. I do know that there are plenty of other players in the game with wrong accessories. But the point of the matter being here is that Kobe is just as popular as Rondo, if not even more popular than him and doesn't get the attention Rondo does.

Re: So Rondo Got his Headband Removed in the roster update

I'll say it again: Why don't other players get the same attention as Rondo? Why Pistons players get less attention? It's nothing personal against Kobe. Should 2K make sure that every player wears the right accessories? Sure! But it's not happening, unfortunately.

Let me ask you, because I don't remember: Was Rondo wearing his headband upside down in 2K11? If he did, maybe the NBA contcated 2K and asked them to remove it. I mean, the NBA has rules and they also like video games to follow them in ordrer to keep using the license.

True, that could be a possibility as to why they removed it. Though I don't remember seeing Rondo wear his headband upside down in 2K11. And that wouldn't explain why they would add finger straps on Kobe's fingers to help replicate the lone one he has on his right index finger.

And I completely agree, all players should get some more attention, rather than to let them just sit there and look like whatever. But meh, I guess those demands aren't being met.

I'm an obvious Laker fan and Kobe's accessory isn't the only one that's screwed up on that roster. Matt Barnes' as well needs a do over as every accessory he wears is incorrect in 2K11. But that's besides the point. Not really asking for too much but for just the stars to at least look as close to their real life selves as possible, especially when a few seconds of editing the accessory can sort that out.

Nope, I don't think he did in 2k10 or 11.
