Madden 11 Online Code Question
 

I'm getting a used copy of Madden '11, and I know EA changed up the Online Pass deal. This Online Pass was already used, but I'm wondering what all that restricts me from if I didn't want to buy a new one? Can I still download current rosters w/o the Online Pass? I don't play online too much (don't need a 10yr old dropping f*bombs on me or onsiding down 50 points), so if I can get away with not forking the extra $10 out, I'm going to do it.

Basically, the rosters are the only thing I'm concerned with. Do I need the Online Pass to get the rosters?

You only need the passcode for playing online. You can still download rosters

I swear that isn't true. I never got an online code, since I share a system. I let someone else use it, yet I still play online. It said I have a 30-Day Trial, that was back on launch. I just played online this past weekend. Some trial...
