triple threat question

I see in may nba 2k11 videos that after a triple threat the player move and dribble. Can someone tell me please how to do because my player his stuck if I do triple threat and I can't move I'm on xbox 360.

In order to dribble, you must have not used your dribble before touching the ball w/ both hands.

Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a double dribble.

2K11 does not allow you to commit this violation by simply moving the left stick.
