since 07, only ware, allen, and williams have more sakcs
since the beginning of last year, only ware, allen, and matthews have more sacks
this year allen has completley **** the bed(one of the worst starting DEs in the league). only reason people havent noticed is because of brett favrah and the whole randy moss thing as well
he is also the best 4-3 DE against the run-only tuck and williams have an argument here, and maybe peppers.
he also drops into coverage more than any other starting DE in the league, which takes away his big play opportunities. and to my knowledge he hasn't given up a single big play when in coverage
allen doesnt deserve to be higher as he has been atrocious this year
tuck is good but cole is having a better year, and has been better the past 5 years
peppers i can see the argument, he is making israel idonije a pro bowler
freeney is too one dimensional, and even then cole has more sacks than him
same with mathis
williams i can see the argument, but only because he is younger. right now, cole is the better player
and pro football focus, which grades every play, has him as the dpoy so far
speaking of which, tamba hali also deserves a major upgrade. the guy is a beast

I believe he has the most sacks in the NFL in the past 3 seasons. He has 43 already in his 4 year career so far.
