Changing Team Names
 

I was just wondering, what happens when you relocate your team and change the team's name? How do the announcers talk about your team? Just by city? By your original team name? I was playing around with the owner mode last night, and didn't notice a set list you could pick for your team name so that they would actually say the name.

Sorry I don't have an answer but I second the question. This will DEFINITELY affect replay value/authenticity of the game if you decide to relocate.

We all remember the days of #3 passes to # 6 for the TD--6 points for the Home team. It is now Chargers 15, Home Team 6.

I want to know this as well. I have my game but I can't play until I get off work at 5:00.

What I wonder is if you move a team to, say, Portland, OR and call them the Wildcats, can you choose whether they're the Portland Wilcats or the Oregon Wildcats? I know some guy on MM said a few weeks ago that you could, but I never found out if he actually had the game or was just bullsh#tting.
