    2011 NFL Draft Thread

I know it's early but some fan bases only have the draft to look forward to so might as well get some talk going now.

Who do you think will be the #1 pick in the '11 Draft? What are your team needs going into next year?

Andrew Luck will be the #1 pick.

Jaguars have addressed the offensive and defensive line the past 2 years. 2011 should be all about the secondary and interior offensive line.

It would be interesting to see what the Bengals would do at #1. Would they finally wave goodbye to Palmer and welcome the new Luck era?

As for Pitt's most glaring needs,
      1- OG or OT
      2- CB
      3- OT or OG

Besides Pouncey last year when was the last time the Steelers invested heavily in the draft on O-Line with either a high pick or later round picks to develop?

Pretty positive the #1 pick is Andrew Luck. Seems like that's been the consensus all year long.

Being a Bucs fan, I like what we did in the draft last year a lot. Actually, McCoy, Benn, and Williams were the 3 rookies I was praying the Bucs would draft the entire time. That worked out slightly better than the last 2 rookies I was praying we would draft (that we also ended up drafting coincidentally enough): Travis Stephens from Tennessee and Chris Simms.

In this years draft, I don't have any names yet. I'll probably find a guy or two that I really want us to draft as the draft gets nearer, but I'd like us to add some more depth to our O-Line, add a pass rusher at defensive end, and then just add some more depth everywhere on the defense. Maybe a more elusive RB as well although I like combination of Blount and Caddy.

Knowing our "Luck" we will probably win out, and not get the first pick.

30 year old average defense for the Broncos, guess what I think they need to draft.

But its hard to tell what the new head coach will want to do, maybe he'll try to move up and get his "Franchise player"

Biggest for the saints would be OLB then DT/DE. After that it's all about getting the best talent available for the future and having even more depth.

Luck's going #1. There's no doubt in my mind about that.

My top 2 things I'd like to see Green Bay do is to take a pass rushing OLB to go on the other side of Clay and to take a RB to pair with Grant and provide solid depth.

Wow I didn't think the Bengals were doing that bad. They might be done with Palmer, I could see them targeting Luck.

Regardless if Young leaves or stays, I want a new QB.

Lions need PP7, or that tackle from Colorado who's name slips my mind right now.

I think it'd be weird to see Luck get drafted by Carolina after they took Clausen last year. Probably would still happen though. Bengals would be a good fit for Luck though imo.

Shouldn't have beaten the Packers if you wanted PP7 so bad.

I've already decided I'm getting a PP7 jersey as long as he doesn't go to a divison rival or a few other teams, he would be a perfect fit in Detroit.

                              Luck will go 1st.

Detroit's needs are secondary and offensive line (like usual). I don't think there is a tackle worth taking at 4, and if PP7 is there, he's coming to Detroit. And who knows, with Denver (Bailey) and Cincy (Hall and Joseph) they might pass on him due to larger needs. If we win more games and our position lowers, Prince Amukamara would be pretty awesome too.
