2-Minute Drill #4 - Light Pressure

For years we've seen players scramble to find the fastest blitzes to create nano pressure against their opponents. Many forget about the effects of light pressure. Not only does it still do the job, but it leaves you less vulnerable to the dangers of heavy blitzing. In this episode, we discuss sending light pressure at opponents to strike a balance between coverage and pressure. Incomplete passes waste an offensive down and light pressure can create just enough confusion to force the quarterback to hold the ball or cause panic.
