Classic stadiums

I remember playing NFL games on my playstation and unlocking classic stadiums. It got me thinking how amazing it would be to play in Three Rivers Stadium, The Metropolitan, The Silverdome, The Kingdome, the Astrodome, Etc...

I don't know what the licensing issues would be, but if there is any way (even if it was DLC) I would be extremely excited to be able to knock out a few games in these classic stadiums.

Imagine the Texans throwbacks in the Astrodome or the Seahawks in the Kingdome. How sweet would that be?

They had classic stadiums in Madden 07 for 360. The Kingdome was one of the stadiums.

Would love to play games with 1980s Dolphins teams in the old Orange Bowl. Grew up going to games there and honestly know the Dolphin teams of the 80s more than the current team. Love the NFL in the 80s. Now, the NFL seems weak compared to those glory days.

Good idea, but how much would you be willing to pay for it? It seems the more we ask for from previous versions, the more we have to pay for them.

Yea classic stadiums would be a nice add on that would make EA more money I guess. But it would cost EA alot of money to get rights to these stadiums and all. EA can barely keep a decent madden crew on hand to make a good game. I think EA needs to spend more time focusing on gameplay and franchise mode and presentation before worrying about old staduim and all. But this a nice idea for future madden games.

Would love to play as Elway in the old orange unis in the original Mile High Stadium.

Could only see it being put in as DLC, EA and their money grabing wouldn't give us something liek that for free. Need to fight for everything from them

Love that stadium. Went there twice, Safeco just isn't the same.

Simple fact that nothing is never free. Plus owners of these stadiums would do anything to make money of names and looks of the stadium. It happens. If it wasn't about the money then the bears real stadium would be madden right now. If I'm not misteakin. It's all about the money.
