Operation Sports Forums - Madden 11 franchise

After having tons of trouble getting a decent imported draft class, I decided to try something different. I used Scout INC's draft player rankings as a guide, and I translated that to NCAA player ratings. I only re-rated players that had a draft grade of 70 or higher, which is basically the top 150 players. My rating system is seriously flawed but the results turned out better than I thought they would. I'll try to lay out the system really quick. Out of 64 1st and 2nd projected players, I had 43 of them in there. Several of them came out in the 3rd round also. Mark Ingram came in at a 67 OVR which I thought was pretty low. I'm gonna keep tweaking ratings and see if I can get better results. Suggestions would be awesome if you guys have any.

You get the picture. I always made sure to make the players AWR and INJ rating match their OVR. So if Andrew Luck is a 99 OVR his AWR and INJ will be 99 also. I know these rating aren't realistic for NCAA, but they actually translate fairly well to Madden. Now the one thing I forgot to mention was the QB's. Everyone is having trouble getting 5 1st round QB's. I didn't get all 5 in the 1st but I did get 3 in the 1st and 2 in the 2nd. Basically I just made Luck,Gabbert,Newton,Locker, and Mallett 99's in every key QB attribute except for AWR. The AWR rating for the QB's were based on their ranking on SCOUT INC. Now everyone didn't come out as high or as low as they should have been, but the QB's were pretty dang close.
