Quarterback finally benched???

Of all the years of playing NCAA Football against the computer, never once has the opposing quarterback ever been benched. In my Georgia dynasty playing against ECU, their qb tossed 5 picks, 4 in the first half, 1 in the second half. 7 mins left in the 4th quarter, with the score 31-0, I here Brad say " now we'll see what this backup can do" I thought at first he was hurt at first, but checked and he wasnt on the injury list. Got kind of confused there for a minute. I am playing with fatigue on, so either he ran out of gas or he got benched as the he backup played the rest of the way. I am hoping he was benched. Has anyone else come across this??

This game don't ever bench players I don't think.

You're were up big in the 4th so most of the time they just sub in 2nd string.

I remember the CPU used to bench ineffective QB's late in NCAA 04, I think... it could have been 06 or 08 on last gen. I know they did it at some point.

It happened to me several times in previous years. At least 10 games per year.

Back in the PS2 days, CPU QBs used to get benched after having 4 INTs. They need to bring it back.

Some players do end up getting benched but that's if they're having a catastrophic game or if they're injured and I don't play with injuries so I hardly ever see a player get sent to the showers early .

correct. although i think if they bring it back, it should also factor in the QB's completion percentage as well, cos a QB that goes 4-19 and 2 picks, surely he's "done enough" to get benched. maybe also sacks should factor in as well.

I've never seen the CPU bench a player for bad performance. However the game if you have a big lead late in the game will often suddenly decide to bench all your starters.
