Rain Delays/Postponements in MLB 11?
 

I tried going through all the great info threads of MLB 11 and will continue to do so but thought Id ask anybody know if we have the option in MLB 11 to ppd games to later dates? I was reading rain affects gameplay but couldn't find any thing specific. Last year they did a great job by allowing us to set manual injuries to follow real life trends but we cant ppd games to follow real life, and a key feature I feel.

No delays or postponements. You can play through rain though and it does affect fielding.

thats a bummer always find it difficult in franchise to follow real life lineups because of that

Did they confirm that it will impact fielding? I didn't think they had.

You will not slip and slide, but you fielders can move slower, get slower jumps, etc.

Too bad they couldn't figure out how to work in rain delays and postponements. This really would have elevated the realism to a whole other level. It's been done before so I wonder why it has taken them so long to get this in?

They want to do it right. Not some tacked on feature like how it felt in past games. Wait till you see the quality and realism with the rain, it will bring things into perspective.

I am guessing they want to incorporate it in a redesigned franchise. Not add on to legacy.
