I don’t blame him but Im not happy. He’s my favorite player and I think we need his leadership especially since we are a pretty young team. I think if it wasn’t for his salary he would have already been traded.

Yeah, I feel pretty much the same way. I still don't see him being traded for a little while at least though partially because of his salary.

I think Young can contribute from the DH spot this year, but he's acted very poorly through this situation. He's making $16 million a year, and he plays horrible defense. You can't fault the Rangers for trying to make their team better, and part of doing that is moving Young to DH. MY was one of my favorite Rangers, but after his comments about Jon Daniels, it's obvious that MY isn't the "team player" that everyone thought he was. I think Young needs to accept his role as DH and quit calling out his GM.

I think its different when you move from 2B to SS to 3B and now DH. I think he is just fed up.

Im personally a Giants fan but Im a born and raised Texan and now since the triple A team here is Rangers Ill go check out some games when they dont conflict with my Longhorns baseball season tickets

One of the new things at the Ballpark is a 3lb pretzel for $12.50. Talk about it being Texas sized
