Madden 2004 face mask penalty
 

I have'nt seen anything about this, but is it just me or the past couple of years 2002,2003, & now 2004 there seems to be way to many face mask penalties.


Yeah I know the old typical amswer " Adjust the slider" , but come on man this stuff is crazy.


Also I don't know if this is a glitch or what but all of my face mask penalties in Madden 2004 are always the 5 yarders.

I though that a crazy face mask penalty was an automatic first down?

Also I have'nt noticed the best player of the game after the game is over?

i know what u mean, i have lots of 5 yard face mask penaltys...

I've noticed alot of them - I address this issue in my sliders in the sliders sticky - try it, hardly any more face mask calls.

Wierd......i hardly ever see a face mask like you are saying.... PC version here. Usually when i get it called is when i dive and i hit the guy too high and he tackles him by the head.

Gotta love when ya grab the guy from behind, pull him down, and somehow get called for face masking.

Anyways, yeah, face masking happens a little too much...yet I still haven't seen a pass interference call, lol. It's all good though, it's why we have to ability to adjust the sliders.

yea, i've noticed a lot of facemask penaltys, too. and they all seem to come from the same animation. as for the player of the game, they still have it. its just been renamed to horse trailer player of the game, or something like that. they also announce it near the end of the game. i.e. they announce it with 1 min. left in the 4th quarter

i had i think 5 last game and the CPU had 1. thats the only penalty called really. unless you count me jumping for a ball on defense where i was in front of the receiver by like 2 steps i never touched him and get slapped with a pass interference. my next drive the CPU does the same thing to me and nothing is called. it sucks. i'm the only one who gets called for penalties.

I have noticed this to that each game does not have a player of the game. That sucks. But, if you play a Monday night game it will show you who was the Horse Trailer player of the game and the end of a game where it used to show the player of the game. Its reserved for Monday night games only now. I don't much care for that.
